The Producers

The plot of the musical follows the exploits of Max Bialystock and Leo Bloom, two washed-up Broadway producers who form a partnership called "Bialystock and Bloom" in order to scam investors out of millions of dollars. Their plan is simple: they'll raise more money for a flop than for a hit, then defraud their backers by putting the production up as an incredibly awful show.
